About the role

Alpine Way Disability Services is seeking an experienced and passionate Day Service Supervisor to lead our disability day program and support people living with disability to live meaningful, independent, and connected lives. This leadership role is ideal for someone who is committed to person-centred support, team leadership, and creating engaging programs that help participants build skills, confidence, and community connections.

Key responsibilities

- Lead, supervise, and support a team of Disability Support Workers

- Coordinate and oversee daily activities within the day service program

- Ensure services are delivered in line with NDIS Practice Standards and Alpine Way policies

- Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and increase independence

- Maintain documentation, incident reporting, and compliance requirements

- Communicate effectively with families, staff, support coordinators, and allied health professionals

- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace for participants and staff

About you

- Experience working within NDIS disability services, preferably in a day program

- Previous team leader or supervisor experience

- Strong understanding of person-centred practice and NDIS standards

- Excellent leadership, communication,



and organisational skills

- Strong understanding of Module 2A Implementation of Behaviour Support Plans and Restrictive Practice.

- Ability to work autonomously

- Ability to mentor and motivate a team

- Passion for improving the lives of people with disability

- Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services, or similar qualification

- NDIS Worker Screening Check

- Working With Children Check (if applicable)

- Current First Aid & CPR

- Valid Australian Driver's Licence

- Minimum of three years' experience within a Day Service Setting

- Sector experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role, considered where no formal qualification obtained
