The Opportunity We are seeking experienced, trauma-informed Support Workers to assist NDIS participants with high physical and complex behavioural needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support clients with psychosocial disabilities, ASD, OCD, and intellectual disabilities.
Implement Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) safely within restrictive practice guidelines.
Provide personal care, daily living assistance, and community access support.
Manage PEG feeding and hoist transfers (experience preferred; comprehensive training provided).
About You
Proven background in high and complex support, remaining calm in challenging situations.
Comfortable providing dedicated personal and physical care with respect and dignity.
Highly reliable with excellent communication skills and flexibility for morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Requirements
Cert III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services.
NDIS Worker Screening Check & National Police Check (issued within 6 months).
Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP).
Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
