Pay: $59.36 per hour for individual piano lessons
Plus 12% Superannuation

Hours:
Wednesdays 9am - 3pm @ O'Connor, ACT
Thursdays 9am - 3pm @ O'Connor, ACT

There are also opportunities to extend beyond these hours should the candidate have more availability.

Contract dates:

The current contract is from 12th October until the end of the school year (approx. 18th December 2026), however, there is the option of continuing the work into 2026 and beyond. Contracts are renewed yearly.

About the role

KRP Music in Schools provides instrumental teachers to primary schools in the ACT. KRP offers both individual and group lessons to students, during the school day, in office at their school. KRP Music in Schools caters for all types of students with a variety of learning goals and needs. Teacher responsibilities include:
Teach individual piano lessons in your own style




Communicate with caregivers about student learning needs and materials
Design and plan individual instrumental lessons for each student assigned
Follow school policies and procedures
Complete Health and Safety training

An administrator manages the following for you:
Timetabling students
Managing student waiting lists
Issuing invoices
Collect and follow up on payments from students
Liaise with school
Advertising for recent students
Pay GST
Pay school room hire
Following school policies and procedures

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 – $60.00 per hour
