We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hand to join our busy restaurant team in Melbourne CBD.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs with basic food preparation.
Wash dishes, kitchen equipment, and utensils.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, storage rooms, and workstations.
Receive and store deliveries correctly.
Remove rubbish and ensure waste is managed properly.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures.
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
Assist with cleaning duties at the end of service.
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
Robust work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work in a quick-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.
Availability to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
