About the role

Redcliffe City Florist is looking for a fully qualified and experienced florist to join our busy and established retail florist team in Redcliffe. This is not an entry-level or newly qualified position. We are looking for someone who already has solid practical floristry skills and can confidently work independently in a busy retail florist environment.

Key responsibilities
Creating bouquets, boxed arrangements and floral arrangements to a high commercial standard
Completing daily customer, phone and online orders
Reading an order and independently selecting appropriate flowers to create the required style and value
Funeral, Sympathy work and Weddings
Flower preparation, conditioning and care
Customer service and taking orders
Working efficiently and maintaining quality during busy periods




Managing own workload and completing orders without requiring ongoing supervision

About you
Certificate III in Floristry (essential)
Minimum 3 years' practical florist-shop experience (essential)
Robust all-round floristry skills
Ability to work confidently and independently
Excellent customer service skills
Reliable and able to work well as part of a team
Saturday availability is highly desirable
