Pioneer Community Kindergarten is seeking a passionate, warm and playful Early Childhood Teacher to join their small team. The role involves stepping into a well-established class with routines, relationships and support already in place. You will connect with children and create meaningful learning through play in an setting that values play-based, child-led learning.

Key responsibilities
Connect with children and create meaningful learning through play
Follow children's ideas and turn questions into investigations
Support children's learning in a natural outdoor playground environment
Build warm and respectful relationships with children
Communicate positively and professionally with families
Work collaboratively within a small team
Implement play-based, child-led learning approaches
Demonstrate flexibility and reflection in kindy life
About you
An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and relevant Queensland teacher registration
A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Current child protection training relevant to the role
Current First Aid and CPR qualifications, including approved asthma and anaphylaxis management training
A passion for play-based, child-led learning
The ability to build warm and respectful relationships with children
A commitment to inclusion and celebrating the strengths of every child
An understanding of the EYLF and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
A genuine love of teaching young children
