About Alpha Timber

Alpha Timber is a Sydney supplier of timber and building materials, based in Ingleburn. We supply trade professionals and homeowners across Sydney and NSW with structural timber, LVL, treated pine, decking, cladding, boards and hardware from our warehouse and yard.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Forklift Driver with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join our evening shift (3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday). You'll be operating forklifts in a busy timber yard, loading delivery trucks and customer vehicles, and helping keep our despatch running smoothly.

Employment Type: Full time, Monday to Friday

Shift: Evening shift, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:
Operating forklifts to move, stack and load long-length timber packs and building materials
Loading and unloading delivery trucks and customer vehicles safely
Picking and staging customer orders for despatch
Receiving and putting away incoming stock




Serving trade and retail customers in the yard
Conducting pre-start checks and reporting any equipment issues
Maintaining a safe, organised yard and warehouse
Assisting the yard team as required

Skills and Requirements:
Current high-risk work (LF) forklift licence – mandatory
Minimum 3 years' forklift experience
Experience handling long-length timber packs and building materials (highly regarded)
A solid commitment to workplace safety
Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work
Reliable, punctual and a solid work ethic
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
Available to work the evening shift, 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday
Full Australian working rights
Car licence

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
