An Experienced Practice Manager wanted to lead the team in an AGPAL accredited established General Practice in Ropes Crossing.

This is a family owned practice located in a shopping centre.

Your Responsibilities
Manage day to day activities of the medical practice
Lead the team professionally and work alongside medical and administration staff
Manage staff recruitment including doctors, nurse and administrative staff
Managing the clinical and administrative staff rosters
-Fill in Reception duties in an emergency situation
Manage AGPAL accreditation process, review and implementation of policies and procedures in line with accreditation
Managing the financials and work with accountants on taxation matters
Liaison with Insurers for work cover, medical suppliers, health specialists and other organisations in business with the medical practice





Essential Skills and Experience
Experience in managing a General Practice
Experience with Medical Director and PracSoft
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Robust organisational and time management skills
Excellent presentation and a qualified manner
Computer literate and troubleshooting skills
Strong knowledge of the Medicare procedures, Work Cover, eHealth, PIP, PNIP, etc
Knowledge in Medicare claims, item numbers, smart billing

Negotiable based on experience
