Role Description

The Building Maintenance Handyman is a full time, in office role based in Brisbane, QLD, responsible for the day-to-day upkeep and repair of commercial and mixed-use properties.
General building maintenance and repairs
Painting, plastering and tenancy make-good works




Lighting and minor plumbing works
Reactive maintenance and tenant support
Identifying maintenance issues and recommending solutions
Supervising tenant fit-outs, move-ins and move-outs
Collaboration with property managers, tenants, and service providers is required to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a high standard of service.

Qualifications
Building maintenance or handyman experience
Skills across general repairs, painting, carpentry, basic plumbing and maintenance
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Qualified communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
Reliable employment history and commitment to long-term employment
Trade qualification or relevant maintenance experience highly regarded
Valid driver's licence
Australian Permanent Residency or unrestricted work rights required
