We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager reporting to the Project Manager to provide leadership, day to day operational direction and ensure quality and productivity objectives are met. You will be key in supporting our overall site objectives.
Key responsibilities
Guide and supervise a team and contractors in Safety, Efficiency and Quality
Prepare SWMS and JSAs and manage site safety for trades and subcontractors
Plan the most effective utilisation of resources to meet the construction plan
Document accurately the events of each day and meet QA sign off requirements
Collaborate with project engineers/managers and other stakeholders
Conduct Prestart meetings and toolbox talks
About you
Qualified in a mechanical discipline
Commitment to workplace health and safety
Previous experience within a processing plant install or refurbishment experience with pipe/valves/pumps
Fault finding and problem-solving skills and experience
Commitment to quality and detail
Ability to work to deadlines
Eligible to work in Australia
