EcoLeaf Packaging is a small, Australian-owned Perth business. We import compostable food packaging - plates, bowls, meal trays, paper cups, food containers and wooden cutlery - direct to our Wangara warehouse, and supply it wholesale to businesses across WA.

We're growing, and we're looking for someone to get our products in front of local businesses.

THE ROLE

This is a face-to-face role. You'll be out visiting businesses across the Perth metro area - Asian and Indian grocers, discount and variety stores, cafes, caterers, party suppliers and food businesses - introducing our range, leaving product brochures and pricelists, and following up.

You'll also carry a small amount of stock in the car, so when a business likes what they see they can buy on the spot rather than waiting for a delivery.

Day to day you'll:
Visit businesses in person to present our product range and leave brochures
- Carry sample stock and complete sales on the spot when a customer is ready to buy
- Follow up warm leads by phone and email
- Keep our prospect list up to date with who you've seen and what they said




- Report back on what businesses are asking for and what they're paying elsewhere
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Comfortable walking into a business and starting a conversation - this matters more than experience
- Current WA driver's licence and your own reliable car with enough boot space to carry a few cartons of stock
- Physically able to lift and carry cartons of packaging
- Well organised, and reliable about following up and handling payments
- Positive written and spoken English
- Any retail, hospitality or customer-facing experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
No sales experience required. If you're a recent graduate or looking to get started in sales, we'd like to hear from you.

WHAT WE OFFER
$30 - $34 per hour depending on experience
- Part time hours with flexibility around your commitments
- You'll work directly with the business owner and see the results of your work
- Room to grow as the business grows
