Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic – Broome, WA

Chambers Contracting is looking for experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Broome.

If you’re a skilled mechanic who enjoys variety, working independently, solving problems and being part of a small, supportive crew, this could be the chance for you.

No two days are the same. You’ll work across a diverse range of machinery and industries throughout Broome and the Kimberley, with a mix of field service and workshop-based work.

What You’ll Be Working On

Your role will include servicing, diagnostics, repairs, breakdowns and fault finding across equipment including:
Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi and Liebherr machinery
Road trains and heavy transport equipment
Drill rigs
Marine engines
Crushing and processing plant
A wide variety of heavy diesel equipment across mining, civil and construction

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:
Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic trade qualification
Current C Class driver’s licence
Strong diesel, hydraulic and electrical knowledge




Confidence with diagnostics and fault finding
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A practical, safety-focused approach and good communication skills
