Overview
The role will support efficient warehouse operations through the safe handling, storage and distribution of goods. The Warehouse Person ensures accurate inventory control, timely order fulfilment and adherence to safety, governance and compliance standards.
Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities
Strategic Focus
Support operational efficiency by maintaining organised warehouse processes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations
Assist in maintaining stock accuracy to support business performance
Operational Management
Receive, unload, and store inbound goods in designated locations
Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and within required timeframes
Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Maintain a clean, organised, and productive warehouse workplace
Support day-to-day warehouse operations and workflow requirements
People Leadership
Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams
Support team objectives through effective communication and cooperation
Governance & Risk
Follow all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures
Safely operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in compliance with regulations
Conduct daily pre-start equipment checks
Report hazards, incidents, and damaged goods promptly
Always ensure safe manual handling practices

Experience & Personal Attributes
Previous warehouse or storeman experience
Valid Forklift Licence (LF – mandatory)
Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Proactive and organised with a methodical approach
