An established Sydney law firm is looking to appoint an Employment Lawyer with 1–3 years PQE to join its growing practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer looking to develop their career in employment law, with exposure to a mix of advisory, commercial and contentious matters.
The Role
Working closely with experienced senior lawyers, you will have the opportunity to work across matters including:
Employment and workplace relations advice
Employment contracts, policies and workplace documentation
Terminations, redundancies and performance management
Workplace disputes and employment-related litigation
Drafting correspondence, agreements and court documents
General commercial matters where relevant
Direct client contact and involvement in matters from an early stage
About You
To be considered, you will ideally have:
1–3 years PQE
Experience or a genuine interest in employment law
Strong drafting and communication skills
A commercial and practical approach to legal matters
Confidence dealing with clients and managing competing priorities
Commercial and/or litigation experience would be highly regarded but is not essential
