Scrub Scout Nurse | Ophthalmology and ENT

Our client is looking to hire an experienced Scrub/Scout Nurse for Ophthalmology and ENT, on a permanent 0.8 FTE basis.

About the Facility

A well-established private hospital on the Sunshine Coast, with a close-knit theatre team and a genuine commitment to work-life balance. Lists are managed strictly and finish on time; when they do run over, it is the managers who stay.

The Role

The caseload is primarily Ophthalmology (cataracts, oculoplastics) and ENT, with some minor orthopaedics. If you have Ophthalmology experience, the team will bring you up to speed on anything else. VR experience is a bonus but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include:
Scrubbing and scouting on Ophthalmology and ENT lists, with some minor orthopaedics
Working within a close-knit theatre team that runs lists on time

What You Will Need
Current AHPRA registration
Solid scrub/scout experience in a surgical workplace




A background in Ophthalmology or ENT is ideal, though the team is genuinely open to experienced scrub/scouts willing to learn
New Zealand nurses with full working rights are encouraged to apply

What Is On Offer
Up to $107k per annum
Monday to Friday, no nights, no weekends
