About the role

n

We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our Coolangatta practice full time.

n

The full-time role works 38 hours across four days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, supporting Dr Jack Troy chairside across preventative, restorative and surgical procedures for patients of all ages.

What you'll be doing

n

n
Assisting chairside during preventative, restorative and surgical procedures
n
Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials for each patient
n




Sterilising instruments and maintaining infection control standards throughout the practice
n
Keeping treatment rooms and clinical areas clean, organised and well stocked
n
Welcoming, comforting and supporting patients throughout their visit
n
Assisting with basic administrative or reception tasks as required
n

What we're looking for

n

Essential

n

n
2+ years' experience in a dental assisting role, including chairside support
n
Robust knowledge of infection control and sterilisation processes
n
A caring, professional and patient-focused approach
n
Strong attention to detail and reliability
n

n

Preferred

n

n
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting
n
Familiarity with Dental for Windows (D4W) or similar software
n

n
