Junior Civil Drafter - Global Rail Infrastructure Team Perth, WA | 3 months contract

Shape the Future of Rail Infrastructure An exciting opportunity has become available for a Junior Civil Drafter to join a globally connected Rail Infrastructure team based in Perth. This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early career drafter looking to develop their technical skills and build a long-term career within a team-oriented engineering environment. You'll gain exposure to major rail and civil infrastructure projects, working alongside experienced specialists delivering projects from concept through to construction across Australia and internationally.

This is a Perth-based position with a minimum requirement of three days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings for rail and civil infrastructure projects.
n
Develop rail alignment plans, longitudinal sections, cross-sections and track layout drawings.
n
Produce drawings for earthworks, drainage, and associated civil infrastructure.
n




Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC) documentation in line with project requirements and industry standards.
n
Manage drawing revisions and incorporate design updates throughout project delivery.
n
Maintain drawing registers and support document control processes.
n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure quality and consistency across project deliverables.

About You

n

n
Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering Drafting or equivalent qualification.
n
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
n
Solid attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality documentation.
n
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, standards and specifications.
n
Robust communication and teamwork skills.
n
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines.
n
