About the Role

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a highly regarded property development and construction business in Brisbane.

You will manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, including supplier invoices, subcontractor claims, payment runs and reconciliations across multiple construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have accounts experience within a commercial builder or construction company. Experience using Jobpac or Payapps would be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process
Process supplier invoices and subcontractor payment claims
Match invoices against purchase orders and project costs
Prepare payment runs and supplier statement reconciliations
Set up new suppliers and maintain accurate records
Resolve invoice discrepancies and respond to supplier queries
Assist with bank,



credit card and general ledger reconciliations
Support month-end processes and reporting
Liaise with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors
Ensure invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time

About You
Previous accounts payable experience within construction
Experience working for a commercial builder is preferred
Confident processing high volumes of invoices and payment claims
Experience using Jobpac or Payapps is highly regarded
Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confident communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Professional, organised and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
