About the role

Reporting to the Crane Service Manager, the planner will be expected to manage technicians, ensuring that jobs are allocated and completed within expected internal timeframes and to not only meet, but exceed customer expectations.

Key responsibilities
Coordinating, scheduling and delegating maintenance of cranes services, inspections, repairs and project work to technicians on a daily basis
Work with all relevant stakeholders to identify and agree on operational timeframes and attendance for reactive and planned maintenance jobs
Updating customers and technicians in real time with any service delays or scheduled changes
Review materials ordered for each schedule job to ensure availability on site prior to work being conducted
Reschedule delegated jobs as required and report on non-completion of assignments
Manage backlog and implement reduction opportunities
Administering quoted jobs, services and projects
Liaise with technicians to reduce work in progress times and close off jobs more efficiently
Maintain good working relationship with all stakeholders




Risk management to ensure compliance and safety of personnel undertaking work at unfamiliar sites

About you
Current Drivers Licence
Experience as a service scheduler within the commercial maintenance industry - highly desirable
Experience with Inspection software – we use InspectAll – preferred
High level attention to detail with advanced record keeping skills
Ability to work in a quick paced energetic setting
Intermediate computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Initiative, self-sufficient, highly organised with demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a great attitude
