MAKA Offroad is Queensland's only PHEV & HV specialist 4x4 accessories fitout centre. We work closely with dealers to deliver complete vehicle fitouts on BYD, Toyota, VW, Ford & Isuzu off-road rigs. We're at the forefront of HV accessories in Australia, working directly with product manufacturers to test and develop new products for these current-generation vehicles. Our work covers everything from tub conversions, GVM upgrades and custom fabrication, through to service bodies, trays and all major accessory brands.

About the role

We're looking for a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice to join the MAKA team, working towards a Certificate III in Electric Vehicle Technology. We'll happily consider apprentices currently in a standard light vehicle or heavy diesel apprenticeship who are looking to make the shift into HV & vehicle fitout work, away from normal mechanical work.





Key responsibilities
Work on tub conversions, GVM upgrades and custom fabrication
Work on service bodies, trays and major accessory brands
Contribute to vehicle fitouts on BYD, Toyota, VW, Ford & Isuzu off-road rigs
Participate in testing and developing new products for recent-generation vehicles

About you
2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprentice
Working towards or willing to work towards Certificate III in Electric Vehicle Technology
