Sheet Metal Solutions NSW is a 100% Australian-owned family business based in Riverstone.

We specialise in precision sheet-metal manufacturing, including laser cutting, CNC bending, rolling and fabrication, working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

We manufacture everything from small precision components through to larger fabricated assemblies, providing our team with a wide variety of work rather than repetitive production.

We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Tradesman / Fabricator to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on workshop position suited to an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Your duties will include:
MIG and TIG welding
Fabrication of sheet-metal components and assemblies
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Saw cutting
Drilling and tapping
Deburring and finishing
Working with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
Assisting with bending, rolling and other sheet-metal processes as required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced in sheet-metal fabrication
Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings




Experienced with MIG and TIG welding
Familiar with laser-cut components, CNC bending and rolling
Able to work accurately and independently
Reliable, punctual and motivated
Quality focused with good attention to detail
A good communicator and comfortable completing workshop paperwork
Safety conscious and able to work effectively as part of a team

A forklift licence is highly regarded.

$40–$45 per hour, depending on experience
