Lead the day-to-day operations of the Esplanade Boutique Motel, a recently renovated waterfront property in the heart of Batemans Bay. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a successful accommodation business with strong occupancy levels and an excellent reputation. As Motel Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful operation of the property.
Key responsibilities
Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction and service standards
Drive strong financial and occupancy performance
Lead and develop staff effectively
Maintain high standards of presentation, housekeeping and maintenance
Manage administration, reporting and cost control
Build positive relationships with guests, suppliers and industry partners
Drive operational excellence and identify opportunities for growth
Contribute to the ongoing success of the business
About you
Experience managing a motel, hotel or accommodation business
Strong leadership and team management capability
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Financial management and budgeting experience
Experience with accommodation booking systems and property management platforms
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
The ability to work independently and take ownership of business outcomes
