Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries in-store and over the phone
Provide advice on hardware tools, garden supplies, and DIY products.
Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system.
Maintain store cleanliness and product displays to ensure a welcoming workplace.
Handle customer complaints and returns professionally and efficiently.
Restock shelves and assist with inventory management.
Stay up to date with product knowledge and promotions.
Will include weekend work on a rostered basis.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in hardware or gardening
Current forklift licence advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of gardening, paint, power tools and hardware beneficial.
Ability to work in a quick-paced workplace and multitask effectively.
Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer skills.
A positive attitude and a passion for helping customers.
Physical ability to lift and move products as needed.
