This organisation is a large, multi-brand national retailer with a well established presence across its sector. They're investing heavily in their data and digital platforms and moving away from low-code tools in favour of scalable, developer-led solutions.

This role will take ownership of a current supplier-facing platform currently being built by an external vendor, with handover expected in the coming months. You'll split your time evenly between hands-on Azure development and working directly with internal stakeholders to shape the platform's future.

What you'll be doing
Taking ownership of a supplier platform post vendor handover, managing its development, enhancement and support
Partnering closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Building features, enhancements and integrations on Azure Web Apps
Working with the data team to integrate with Microsoft Fabric
Contributing technical expertise to a broader shift away from low-code platforms

What we're looking for




Proven experience developing and maintaining applications on Azure Web Apps
Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, or the ability to build this quickly
Confidence engaging non-technical stakeholders and translating their needs into technical outcomes
Experience inheriting and maintaining a platform built by an external vendor is highly regarded
Familiarity with Power BI is a plus, though not core to the role
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)

$130,000 + Super
Location: Melbourne
Onsite presence required 4 days per week, 1 day work from home
Start date: mid-November 2026
