We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter with robust general maintenance and vital repairs on a wide range of parts, plant and infrastructure within the FMCG industry for our privately owned mondern manufacturing site in the Northern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and vital repairs on a wide variety of parts, plant, infrastructure and manufacturing machinery.
Executing rapid-respone breakdown trouble shooting to minimize production down time and fault finding activities
Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability of site equipment.




Carrying out routine and unplanned mechanical tasks as they arise in the production area.
Assisting with general ad-hoc facility and equipment tasks to further support the broader operations team.
To adhere to all safe hygiene practices in place whilst working in the manufacturing area

Skills & Experience
Minimum 4 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter (essential) - ideally in FMCG
Relevant Australian trade qualification (essential)
Robust mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability
Basic stainless steel welding skills (advantage)
Basic Machining skills (advantage)
Strong commitment to safety
Valuable communication skills and ability to work independently
