Rapid Perforating is an Australian-owned and operated company specialising in the manufacture of perforated metal, expanded metal, grating, handrails and custom metal products. Rapid Perforating is seeking a skilled and motivated Welders/Metal Fabricators to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will be committed to producing high-quality work that meets Australian standards while contributing to a protected and productive workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform welding to Rapid Perforating requirements and Australian Standard guidelines.
Carry out cutting, grinding, and general metal fabrication tasks.
Fabricate and weld products within both the grating and handrail departments.
Assemble handrails and balustrades to specification.
Read and interpret workshop drawings and fabrication plans.
Design and build jigs for non-standard or custom items.
Operate a variety of workshop machinery, equipment, and hand tools.
Assist with general fabrication shop duties as required.




Undertake other reasonable duties consistent with your skills, training, and experience.

Skills & Experience
Relevant experience or qualifications for a similar role
Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
