We are seeking an Assistant Scientist(Pilot Plant Co-ordinator) to join our R&D; team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, based in Tingalpa.
Reporting to the Senior Scientist, you'll provide technical support to the ANZ R&D; team, contributing to our innovation agenda while overseeing pilot plant inventory, safety and quality systems to ensure a safe, efficient and compliant environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare innovation samples for internal, external and customer sensory evaluations.
Coordinate sample shipments for customer meetings and reviews.
Support the R&D; team with pilot plant and factory trials.
Complete innovation, productivity and trial documentation.
Conduct routine laboratory analysis of samples.
Manage pilot plant stock, inventory and replenishment.
Conduct Seasoning Capability Studies and associated testing.
Maintain pilot plant compliance with GMP, Food Safety and audit standards.
Follow all workplace safety standards and procedures.
Qualifications
Degree in Food Technology or a related discipline preferred.
Relevant food industry experience preferred.
Solid communication, organisation and project management skills.
Technical mindset with the ability to build product and process knowledge.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
