Job Description Summary
ConnectSydney are on the hunt for an enthusiastic Depot & Logistics Coordinator to join our Rockale team!
About the Role ConnectSydney, a joint venture of ServiceStream, Boral, and Johnson Controls, in partnership with Transport for NSW (TfNSW), is entrusted with the management of the Harbour Zone.
Our responsibilities encompass routine maintenance, strategic enhancements, and specialised projects aimed at bolstering Sydney's transport infrastructure.
The Depot & Logistics Coordinator position is integral to manage and maintain the effective operation of depot, yard, warehouse, inventory, and logistics activities.
This will ensure the safe, accurate, and timely receipt, storage, distribution, and control of materials, equipment, and fleet-related resources that support ConnectSydney's Civil and ITS maintenance operations, while upholding the highest standards of safety, compliance, operational excellence, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and maintain efficient, well-ordered storage facilities (yard and warehouse)
Maintain a tidy, safe, organised and efficient depot and storage environments
Implement and maintain accurate inbound and outbound goods receipting procedures.
Pick/Assemble material job packs for field crews on a daily basis and ensure returns are logged and stored accurately and efficiently
Provide Logistics / courier services to all supervisors as and when requested
Oversee inventory management and ordering of both supplies and quarry materials to always ensure appropriate quantities for all work activities.
Assist Civil and ITS maintenance teams with depot activities
Support Depot and Fleet manager with fleet related activities
About You
Previous logistical experience within yard or warehousing operations
Experience within Civil maintenance activities or electrical distribution environments
Previous experience utilising Warehouse Management Systems e.g. SAP
Fundamental experience with order receivals and put-away processes
Previous inventory stocktake experience
MR Truck Licence
Forklift Licence
Computer literacy
Strong communication and time management skills
Telehandler Gold Card (desirable)
