As a senior Carer Peer support worker you will be providing intentional peer support for families, carers and supporters of consumers who access the Hawthorn Mental Health Program.
Offer 1:1 support for families, carers, supporters accessing Hawthorn clinic
Coordinate and facilitate a group for carers
Work in collaboration with treating teams across the clinic
Classifications for this position will range from AK47 - AK50 ($90,880 - $101,233 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
Intentional Peer Support (IPS) Training or willingness to complete
Carer Perspective Supervision Training or willingness to complete
Must have a lived experience of caring and supporting someone with a mental illness
A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain
