As we continue to implement and enhance controls, processes and ways of working, we are looking for a Safety Business Partner to join our flagship Hume Rd facility in Laverton North and help us bring this vision to life.

About the role
n
As a Safety Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of shaping and embedding safety culture across our operations.
n
This is more than a compliance role - it's an prospect to influence, educate and support continuous improvement in workplace safety.
n
You'll work closely with site operational teams and Health & Safety Representatives, ensuring that safety is integrated into every aspect of our business.
n
Key responsibilities:
n

Partner with teams to develop, implement and enhance site safety plans and risk management strategies.
n
Identify local safety improvement opportunities and coach site teams on best practices.
n
Support or facilitate incident investigations, operational risk assessments and audits.
n
Undertake the implementation of Lineage's Safety Framework, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and legislation.
n
Develop, implement and embed safe systems of work, including SOPs and risk assessments.
n
Promote the prompt reporting of incidents and hazards, supporting continuous learning and proactive risk management.
n
Champion Safety and Compliance Culture Programs and provide training,



coaching and mentoring to senior stakeholders and frontline employees.
n
Support injury management and contribute to state, country and APAC-wide safety initiatives.
n
Maintain safety records, analyse safety data, and provide insights to support proactive safety improvements.
n

About You
n
n
You are a true safety champion who works collaboratively with teams to ensure the highest levels of engagement around safety
n
Proven experience in a similar safety champion role within warehousing, logistics or industrial operations.
n
Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or related disciplines.
n
Indepth knowledge of safety legislation and compliance requirements.
n
Experience conducting risk assessments, investigations and audits.
n
Ability to partner with operational teams to develop and sustain a best practice safety culture.
n
Impressive understanding of safety procedures, systems and risk management frameworks.
n
Auditor qualifications or relevant auditing experience.
n

Preferred:

Exceptional communication, problem-solving and influencing skills.
n
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on, operational safety support.
n
Time management and organisational skills.
n
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety IT systems (e.g., Rapid, Enviro Essentials).
