The Opportunity

Our high-performing Environment team continues to grow, supported by a solid pipeline of projects across health, schools, transport, contaminated land, environmental studies, dams & hydropower, and energy transition.
n
We are seeking a Senior to Principal Environmental Scientist / Engineer (Contaminated Land) to join our Sydney team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced skilled to lead the delivery of complex contaminated land projects, provide technical leadership, mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to the continued growth of our Environmental business.

You'll be supported by experienced technical and project leaders and will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and deliver complex contaminated land investigations, assessments, and remediation projects
n
Provide technical leadership and oversight of high-quality interpretive reporting
n
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources, and client expectations
n
Develop and maintain robust relationships with key clients, regulators, and stakeholders
n
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and contribute to proposal development
n
Mentor and support the development of junior and mid-level environmental professionals
n
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across major infrastructure, energy, water, and resource projects
n
Provide strategic advice on contaminated land, PFAS, hazardous materials, and environmental risk management
n
n
About You
n
n
Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
n
Certified Environmental Practitioner
n
8+ years' experience in contaminated land, PFAS, and hazardous materials
n
Well-developed report writing skills with excellent attention to detail
n
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
Proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
n
Strong project and time management capabilities
n
Willingness to travel for short-term fieldwork assignments
n
Current driver's licence and ability to undertake field-based work
n
