AM Shift: 5:30am to 2:00pm

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day production operations while ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, efficiency, and workplace safety.
n
This role requires a strong leader who can hold people accountable, set transparent expectations, and maintain a productive team culture from the outset.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead and manage daily production activities and team performance.
n
Allocate tasks, coordinate rotations and manage staff breaks.
n
Train, coach and develop production team members.
n
Ensure food safety, quality, GMP and hygiene standards are maintained.
n




Monitor production performance, workflow and key operational KPIs.
n
Complete and oversee production documentation and records.
n
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance and Production departments.
n
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
n
Maintain a safe workplace and ensure all incidents, hazards and near misses are reported.
n
Support problem-solving and process improvement activities.
n
Ensure production targets are met while maintaining product quality standards.
n

About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience leading and managing people in a production or manufacturing environment.
n
The confidence to be firm, make decisions and hold team members accountable.
n
Strong organisational and time management skills.
n
The ability to work independently and take initiative.
n
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
n
Experience working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
n
Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
n
n
Highly Desirable
n
n
Previous experience within food manufacturing or food production.
n
Understanding of GMP, food safety and quality systems.
n
Certificate III in Food Processing or similar industry qualifications.
n
n
