What's the role?

There is an exciting opportunity to join our Fabrication Team as a Boilermaker on a permanent, full‐time basis.
n
Our Boilermakers are based in Toowoomba and have access to fantastic facilities.
n
Our Boilermaker roles are not FIFO and we do not require you to travel to mine sites.
n
The Boilermaker role at RME is heavily safety focussed, producing exceptional work while ensuring the safety of yourself and others is our priority.
n
This role is a key part of the manufacturing journey of RME's innovative Mill Relining equipment.
n
Our Fabrication Team have wealth of experience in their Trades and are willing to continue learning and build their skill.
n
What are we looking for?
n
RME is looking for an experienced Boilermaker who will use their knowledge and skills to contribute to the efficient fabrication of RME parts and equipment.
n
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
n
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
n
A positive attitude and a passion for team work
n




Ability to demonstrate initiative and good judgement
n
Experience in flat plate fabrication, with the ability and desire to produce the highest-quality fabrications to AS**** parts 1 and 4
n
Experience with Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW)
n
The ideal candidate may also possess:
n
Post-trade certified in AS**** certificates 7, 8G and 9
n
Experience with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) or Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)
n

Start on a rate of $***** per hour ($***** base plus 30% nightshift loading)

Work a 4 day week, having every Friday night off!

Receive a new 3M Adflo Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) System.
n
Receive brand recent work boots and uniforms.
n
Have the opportunity to work overtime when available
