An excellent opportunity has become available for a Commercial Litigation & Insolvency Lawyer to join a growing Melbourne CBD practice.
n
We are seeking a commercially minded lawyer with approximately 3–5 years PAE who is looking to develop their career across sophisticated disputes and insolvency matters while gaining genuine responsibility and direct client exposure.
n
The Opportunity
n
Working closely with experienced senior lawyers, you will be involved in a broad range of matters including:
n
n
Commercial litigation and complex disputes
n
Corporate and personal insolvency matters
n
Debt recovery and enforcement proceedings
n
Creditor and debtor disputes
n
Construction-related disputes
n
Court proceedings, mediations and negotiations
n
Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions and other legal documents
n
Managing matters and liaising directly with clients, counsel and other stakeholders
n
n
You will have the opportunity to take ownership of matters,



develop strong client relationships and work across a diverse and growing client base.

About You
n
You will ideally have:
n
n
Approximately 3–5 years PAE
n
Experience in commercial litigation and/or insolvency
n
Strong drafting and technical legal skills
n
Experience managing litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
n
Confidence dealing directly with clients and counsel
n
Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills
n
A commercial and practical approach to resolving disputes
n
A genuine interest in building your career in litigation and insolvency
n
