These roles are Permanent, Part‐time, 50hrs/fortnight
n
Applications close Friday 18 September ****.

As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.
n
Shift times start from 7:00am and the latest closing time is 9:30pm.
n
You have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
n

About this work area
n
As a Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
n
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
n
Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA product range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
n
Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
n
Assembling our products according to proper building and enclosed instructions to ensure complete functionality.
n
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
n

As a Sales Co-worker you are or have:
n
n
Passionate about learning and sharing your knowledge of the IKEA range with customers.
n
Comfortable working in a fast‐paced, hands‐on retail environment.
n
Customer‐focused and driven to deliver a memorable shopping experience.
n
Friendly, approachable, and enjoy connecting with people.
n
An authentic approach in generating sales, whilst maintaining a professional, self‐motivated attitude towards meeting sales targets and KPIs.
n
A "Togetherness" mindset with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.
n
Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range and tools.
n
A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive movements and lifting.
