The Role

As an Experienced Engineer – Roads & Highways, you'll work on a broad range of roads, highways and transport projects, supporting the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure that connects communities across Perth and the wider WA region.
Working alongside industry-leading specialists, you'll contribute to technical design activities and project delivery while developing your project management capabilities in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Deliver high‐quality analysis and design outcomes aligned with technical standards and client requirements
Independently undertake key technical tasks across multiple projects
Apply project management principles to support on‐time, on‐budget delivery
Prepare technical reports and proposals for small to medium projects
Monitor scope and project risks while effectively utilising business systems
Build and maintain strong client relationships, both internally and externally
Collaborate effectively within a diverse, multi‐disciplinary team environment
About You
Suitable applicants will be/have:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
1-6 years of experience in roads and highways design
Sound understanding of relevant Australian Standards and specifications
Strong organisational and project coordination skills
Ability to interpret and communicate technical information effectively
A proactive, client‐focused approach
Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
Confidence working independently while contributing positively to team success
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and business systems
Awareness of project management, WHS management and CRM principles
An emerging capability in safety in design and risk identification
