Job Description
n
Engage with commercial teams across Australia and New Zealand to drive new business volume and develop strategies to finance new asset classes
n
Evaluate, review, and research equipment to determine market dynamics and asset values
n
Work with sales, customers, and dealers to provide solutions supporting new business volume and new program development
n
Review and analyze current portfolios to increase performance and ensure adherence to Global Asset Management policies
n
Deliver asset expertise supporting origination activities and risk management for CT&I; equipment portfolios
n
Identify asset financing opportunities with commercial teams and progress them to closure using residual risk and asset-backed structures
n
Support local commercial and/or C&R; team members with ad hoc asset evaluations for new business and distressed customers
n
Develop working relationships with Program Management, Sales, and New Business Development to identify, pursue, and execute commercial opportunities
n
Develop and implement Asset Management strategies for selected accounts to drive new lease originations and residual risk income
n
Monitor equipment manufactured and sold by vendor partners and competitors, and provide updates on product launches and CT&I; market developments
n
Prepare Vendor Reports and ad hoc reports for the Asset Management Committee
n
Work with Local Remarketing teams to determine how best to remarket portfolio assets before return
n
Liaise with third-party asset valuators and other DLL Asset Evaluators Managers, challenging assumptions where appropriate
n
Research countries, local business practices, customs, and markets affecting asset values across Australia and New Zealand
n
Participate in Asset Management-related projects within and outside the business unit
n

Requirements
n

Proficient in Microsoft applications
n
Genuine interest in and relevant knowledge of the Construction, Transportation and Industrial (CT&I;)
sector and its commercial operations
n
Strong commercial drive and business acumen
n
Able to engage with internal commercial teams and present commercial initiatives to high-level external relationships
n
Excellent communication and analytical skills
n
Ability to develop, manage, and evolve internal and external relationships
n
Quality driven and results oriented with a self-starting entrepreneurial spirit
n
Logical thinking and ability to represent complex and technical issues clearly and concisely
n
Able to find and provide solutions and generate more than one option
n
