We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head ofEnglish to join our Secondary school team in a full-time, ongoing rolecommencing 1 January ****. The successful candidate will provide strategic, instructional andcurriculum leadership for English across the Secondary College,supporting the delivery of high-quality, Gospel-inspired educationthat nurtures students academically, spiritually, socially andemotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a high-performing English Learning Areaaligned with the College's Christian vision.
n
Lead excellence in English curriculum, teaching andlearning across Years 7–12.
n
Drive staff development, collaboration and
continuousimprovement.
n
Lead high-quality assessment, moderation and academicstandards.
n
Manage resources, budgets and strategic planning to supportstudent success.
n
Champion wellbeing, professionalism and
activeparticipation
in College life.
n

Selection Criteria

Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christand is an active member of a Christian Church, living inaccordance with the Association's Statement of Faith, ChristianLifestyle Statement and Educational Objectives.

Model and contribute to the Christian ethos of the Collegecommunity.
n
Lead engaging English programs that inspire literacy,critical thinking and creativity.
n
Drive curriculum innovation, assessment excellence, andmoderation practices.
n
Develop and support staff through coaching, mentoring andprofessional growth.
n
Build a positive, collaborative culture while overseeingbudgets and resources.
n
Current Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia(TRBWA) registration and a valid Working with Children Check(WWCC), or willingness to apply.
