We are seeking an experienced, energetic and motivated manager or couple. This is a great hands on opportunity for someone with solid outdoor skills with the ability to manage a busy park with a small
grounds/maintenance
and front office team.

The holiday park has 58 cabins and 115 sites. Modern facilities include a camp kitchen, amenities block, games room, children's playroom and playground, lounge, swimming pool, indoor movies and outdoor open-air cinema.
n
Accommodation on site is available, however it is also suitable for someone with their own caravan or RV.
n
About the position
n
The Manager position involves a range of duties and is a very hands-on role reporting to the park owners. The Park manager position is a full time position plus on-call duties.
n
If applicants are a couple the second person could potentially work in either front office (role will depend on experience) or housekeeping.
n
Grounds
n
Maintenance of gardens and grassed areas – including watering (if permissible), weeding and fertilisation of garden beds, pruning of trees and shrubs, fencing, mowing, and edging of grassed areas.
n
Weed Control
n
Ensuring grounds are presented in a tidy and professional appearance.
n
Maintenance
n
Undertaking repairs and routine maintenance of buildings and equipment.
n
Arranging and supervising contractors undertaking maintenance on site.
n
Development and implementation of a maintenance programme.
n
Work with the Park owners to establish goals, priorities, policies and procedures.
n
Provides assistance with the development and control of the maintenance budget.
n




Workplace Health and Safety
n
Attend to all matters ensuring that the Parks grounds and facilities meet appropriate WHS standards.

Tasks/Responsibilities
n
Provides supervision, training, and work managing part-time and fulltime staff.
n
Respond to Out of Hours call outs as required.
n
Issuing keys and maintaining key records.
n
Employment and training of new
grounds/maintenance
staff as required
n
Who You Are:
n
Key Selection Criteria
n
Trade qualifications and/or 3-4 years 'hands on' experience in a similar role.
n
Current Manual Motor Vehicle license.
n
Be able to manage a team.
n
Ability to prioritise work schedule and meet agreed deadlines.
n
Knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation and requirements.
n
Computer skills and literacy.
n
Personal Characteristics
n
Personal pride in work quality.
n
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
n
Candidates offering one of more of the following will be preferred:
n
Experience and working knowledge of RMS reservation system
n
Previous holiday park management experience or hospitality management qualification & experience
n
