We are currently seeking experienced Electricians to join a majorbrownfields upgrade project at an operating mill in Western Australia. This is a long-term, large-scale project that will effectively double the size of the existing mill, providing an excellent opportunity for electricians with strong construction and mine site experience to work on a significant project.

Electrical Scope
n
n
Working within the switch room and substation
n
Removal and installation of MCCs
n
Removal and installation of transformers
n
Installation of a recent generator
n
Installation of mains cabling
n
Installation of control cabling for supply and field equipment
n
Cable pulling
n
Cable terminations
n
Electrical testing and commissioning support
n
Working safely around existing live/operating plant and brownfields infrastructure
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n




Strong construction electrical experience
n
Previous mine site / processing plant experience
n
The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
n
Solid experience with cable pulling, terminations and testing
n
Previous EWP experience
n
Current Working at Heights (WAH) and EWP tickets
n
Relevant High Risk Work Licences (HRWLs) are highly regarded
n
Ideally, a couple of years' mine site experience working in operational environments
n
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
n
n
This is a brownfields project within an operating mill, so experience working safely around existing plant, infrastructure and operational environments is particularly important.
