Job DescriptionMobile Plant Engineer Location: Southampton - Regional Coverage Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Shift: Days Are you an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer looking for a regional role that offers a great work-life balance and no nights away from home? We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Engineer to join an established and growing business, covering customers across Southampton and the surrounding regional areas.

The Role
n
As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repair of a range of mobile plant and equipment. You will travel to customer sites across the region, ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard and kept operational.

Key responsibilities include:
n

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on mobile plant equipment
n
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
n
Servicing and inspecting machinery
n
Attending customer sites across the regional area
n
Completing service reports and maintenance records
n
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n




Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally
n
n
The Candidate
n
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with mobile plant, heavy plant, agricultural machinery, construction equipment or similar. You should be confident with:

Mechanical and electrical fault finding
n
Hydraulic systems
n
Diesel engines
n
Preventative and reactive maintenance
n
Working independently at customer sites
n
Holding a full UK driving licence
n
n
