Surgery
Internal Medicine

Our hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a 128-slice CT scanner, 3 Tesla MRI, advanced endoscopy, multiple ultrasound units, and an on-site pathology lab.

About the Internship
This 12-month Surgical Internship is part of the nationally recognised Greencross Intern Program, designed to support your transition into specialist surgical practice in a vibrant teaching hospital environment.
As a Surgical Intern, you will:
Assist in surgical consultations, diagnostics, and procedures
Participate in perioperative patient care and surgical rounds
Engage in journal clubs, case presentations,



and hospital-wide multidisciplinary rounds
Collaborate with specialists across disciplines including Internal Medicine, ECC, Neurology, Oncology, Anaesthesia, and more
Receive structured mentoring and progressive clinical responsibility

What We're Looking For
You are a motivated, qualified and enthusiastic veterinarian who:
Is eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria
Holds a current radiation licence
Has strong communication skills, a solid medical knowledge base, and a great work ethic
Has clinical experience (desirable but not essential)
