About the role:
If successful, you will provide tailored and accurateadministrative support to the SDMs, Employment Mentors and othersite employees within the Employment Portfolio.
It works inconjunction with Employment Mentors to provide seamless service tojobseekers, reducing the number of administrative and monitoringactivities.
This position may be a pathway to becoming anemployment mentor with AMES Australia for people with no previousemployment services experience or experience as an employmentmentor.
To be considered for this role, you will be able todemonstrate the following key selection criteria:
To be willing to complete the Employment Services SkillsSet
Good interpersonal and communication skills, including theability to communicate with a range of clients over the phone,face to face and/or in writing
Strong computer skills,
including proficiency in theMicrosoft Office Applications, i.e Word, Excel, and PowerPointand knowledge of database applications
Ability to take initiative, problem solve and take theextra mile to engage clients
Strong organisational and time management skills withwillingness to learn
Exposure to financial processes, payments and/or petty cashmanagement
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively aspart of a team in a busy environment
Ability to communicate service requirements to job seekerswhilst ensuring the delivery of excellent customerservice
Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability,teamwork and professionalism consistent with the AMES Visionand values and demonstrated commitment to quality andcontinuous improvement principles.
