We are currently seeking a FirstPeoples' Program Project Coordinator to join our team.
n
The Role
n
Reporting to the First Peoples Program Executive Lead, you willcoordinate the strategic planning, delivery and follow-up of Oxfam Australia's **** Indigenous Summit and associated First Peoples'
initiativesandfuturecommunity
events.
n
Thisrole provides high-level project coordination, stakeholder engagement,
communications,researchand
strategic support toensure successful planning, delivery and follow-up of the Summit,and other communityevents while strengthening Oxfam Australia's relationships with First Nations peoples,
communities,organisationsand
allies.
n
The First Peoples Program Project Coordinator role has oversight/will manage the First Peoples Program Events Coordinator positionwhich is a12 monthposition tosupport withcommunity events.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Coordinate strategic planning and delivery of First Peoples' events and initiatives leading up to the **** Indigenous Summit.
n
Develop andmaintainproject plans, reporting
frameworks,registersand
tracking systems.
n
Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external FirstPeoples'stakeholders.
n
Organisegovernance,planningand
consultation meetings, including agendas, minutes, actionlogsand follow-up.
n
Monitor project milestones, risks,actionsand deliverables, escalating issues whererequired.
n
Coordinate stakeholder engagement,



communications and information sharing with
communities,partnersand
allies.
n
Undertake research,
stakeholdermappingand
analysis to inform strategic approaches and recommendations.
n
Support evaluation, impactreportingand post-Summit community engagement activities.
n
Experience coordinating complex
projects,consultationsor
stakeholder engagement initiatives.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including reports,briefsand stakeholder communications.
n
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
n
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement capability.
n
Strong project
administration,planningandlogisticscoordination
skills.
n
Demonstrated experience working respectfully with First Nations
peoples,communitiesand
organisations.
n
A little about you (Key Selection Criteria)
n
Experience in the development and maintenance of project plans, templates, communication tools, registers,
reportingframeworksand
tracking systems.
n
Highly organised and developed approach in governance, planning and leading consultations meetings and workshops, including agendas, papers, minutes, actionlogsand follow-up activities.
n
Experience in conducting research, stakeholder mapping and analysis that has informed future approaches and recommendations.
n
Experiencedrafting concept notes and project proposals including monitoring of milestones, risk mitigation,
reportingcreationand
alignment to cultural protocols
n
Experience in
undertakingresearch
and scoping activities relating to partnerships, ethical standards, community engagement frameworks and sector best practicewith First Nations Peoples and communities.
