Are you currently working as an Owners Corporation Assistant, Strata Assistant or Administrator and ready for the chance to become an Owners Corporation Manager?
n
TSM Strata is looking for a motivated Junior Owners Corporation Manager to join our growing Melbourne team.
n
This is not a role where you'll be handed a large portfolio and expected to figure it out yourself.
n
We are looking for someone with the right attitude, strong customer service skills and attention to detail who we can train, support and develop over the first three months, with the goal of progressing you into managing your own portfolio of smaller, low-touch Owners Corporations.
n
You'll work closely with experienced managers and senior leadership while building your confidence across meetings, correspondence, maintenance, compliance, financial matters and day-to-day portfolio management.
n
What we're looking for
n
You don't need to know everything about Owners Corporation management yet.
n
We're more interested in finding someone who:
n
Has experience as an Owners Corporation Assistant, Strata Assistant, Property Assistant or similar
n
Is ready to take the next step into managing their own properties
n
Has exceptional customer service and communication skills
n
Enjoys dealing with people and building relationships
n
Has a strong hospitality or service mindset
n
Is highly organised and detail orientated
n
Learns quickly and takes initiative
n




Can confidently manage competing priorities and follow tasks through
n
Communicates professionally by phone and email
n
Is comfortable asking questions and learning from experienced team members
n
Holds a current driver's licence
n
Experience in hospitality, hotels, real estate or another customer-focused industry will also be highly regarded, particularly where you have developed strong people skills alongside your Owners Corporation experience.
n
What you'll be doing
n
Initially, you'll work alongside our experienced Owners Corporation Managers and leadership team to further develop your skills across:
n
Responding to owners, committees and contractors
n
Coordinating repairs and maintenance
n
Preparing correspondence and meeting documentation
n
Assisting with and eventually running committee and general meetings
n
Reviewing invoices, quotations and financial information
n
Following up contractors and outstanding matters
n
Understanding Owners Corporation legislation and compliance requirements
n
Building relationships with committees and owners
n
Maintaining accurate records and following tasks through to completion
n
As your knowledge and confidence develops,



we'll progressively transition a portfolio of smaller, lower-touch Owners Corporations to you to manage independently, with ongoing support available whenever you need it.
