This isn't your typical "update the SWMS, tick the boxes and disappear" safety role.

You'll be working alongside a highly experienced Safety Manager who will genuinely mentor you, while you become a key part of a young, energetic and growing second-generation commercial construction business delivering some seriously impressive projects across Sydney.

What you'll actually be doing:
n
No two days will look the same...
n
n
Working a ***** split between site and office — mostly on site
n
Working alongside site teams, contractors and project managers
n
Reviewing, improving and modernising WHS/HSEQ systems and documentation
n
Managing internal safety systems and keeping things moving
n
Supporting tenders and live commercial projects
n
Delivering practical safety advice, training and toolbox talks
n
Identifying gaps and actually helping fix them
n
Working with the Safety Manager on continuous improvement
n
Being the person people come to when they need positive, practical safety advice
n
n
Who are we looking for?
n




This is where we're pretty specific.
n
You need 3+ years of HSEQ experience in Commercial Building & Construction.
n
We are NOT looking for someone coming from:
n
n
Residential Building
n
Aged Care
n
Medical
n
Manufacturing
n
General Industry environments
n
n
You need to understand construction sites, contractors, projects, documentation and the realities of getting work done safely.
n
You'll also need:
n
n
Cert IV in WHS minimum
n
Strong commercial construction experience
n
White Card
n
Driver's Licence
n
Confidence dealing with everyone from a Site Supervisor to a Director
n
A practical, solutions-focused approach
n
n
Most importantly...
