Greet and interview potential donors to understand eligibility and suitability to donate
n
Create a positive donor experience
n
Complete routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests
n
Set up machines and collection equipment
n
Safely insert and remove needles to collect whole blood, plasma and platelets
n
Monitor donors post-donation
n
Assist donors with rebooking their next donation
n
Work collaboratively to achieve collection targets
n

Requirements
n
n
Proven customer-facing experience
n
Passion for delivering an exceptional donor experience
n
Comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials
n
Ability to occasionally lift between ****** kg
n
Ability to frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products
n
Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
n
Ability to work collaboratively to achieve collection targets
n
No previous blood collection experience required; full training provided
n
