Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide engineering coordination and delivery of small to medium sized projects for the Projects Division, working independently or within a team.
n
Support Project and Engineering Managers in the planning, coordination, and delivery of engineering projects across all EPC phases.
n
Coordinate and manage engineering deliverables, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with project and contractual requirements.
n
Provide technical input into project scope definition, design reviews, risk assessments, and execution strategies.
n
Track and report on project cost, schedule, performance, and risk, supporting proactive issue identification and resolution.
n
Coordinate communication and interfaces between engineering disciplines, procurement, construction contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
n
Provide engineering and technical support during construction, installation, and commissioning activities, including site inspections and issue resolution.
n
Lead and support tender preparation, proposals, scopes of work, and project documentation.
n
Support contractor, supplier, and logistics management to ensure efficient and protected project execution.
n
Support Site Operations Coordinators and field teams to achieve successful construction and delivery outcomes.
n
Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development and expansion into new sectors.
n
Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, and project progress meetings.
n
Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management, ensuring compliance with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
n
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, systems, tools, and EPC delivery practices.
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred; Chemical/Process, Civil, or related disciplines considered).
n
3-5+ years' experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within an oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, or EPC project environment.
n
Strong understanding of engineering principles, EPC project execution methodologies, and relevant industry standards and codes.
n
Experience in mechanical fabrication (SMP, tanks) and/or industrial construction projects highly regarded.
n
Demonstrated experience supporting construction and site-based execution activities.
n
Familiarity with project management, scheduling, and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project; Primavera advantageous).
n
Strong commercial acumen, with experience supporting cost control, schedule management, change management, and contractor performance.
n
Proven ability to work effectively with contractors, suppliers, logistics providers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build client trust and support senior managers.
n
Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, compliance, and wellbeing.
n
Flexibility to travel to project and construction sites as required.
