Robertson Health Centre is located within Robertson Barracks in Holtze, approximately 15 km east of Darwin.
The facility supports approximately 2,800 Defence personnel, along with a significant Reserve component.
The Barracks also host an additional 2,500 US Marines on a rotational basis from May to September each year.
The Health Centre provides comprehensive services including primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health care, and operates a 22-bed, 24/7 inpatient ward.
Standard operating hours are 7:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday
What you'll do
Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members




Conductingfitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
Undertaking assessments, interventions, managing medications, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentwhere patientwellness is paramount
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
One of the following:ACMHN credentialed
Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
Mental Health trained nurse / UK trained undergraduate Mental Health Nurse
Minimum two years' Post RN general registration experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' and 'Psychological Therapy' as per Medicare Schedule
Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
