ABOUT THE ROLE

On behalf of our client, a leader in premium food manufacturing, we are seeking a Food Technical Manager. This role ensures product excellence, safety, and regulatory compliance across all operations, aligning with the company's commitment to high-quality, innovative food solutions.

DUTIES:
n
n
Maintaining quality related documents and reports.
n
Promoting good manufacturing practices in the workplace.
n
Performing standard tests for flavour, colour, taste, texture and nutritional content
n
Work on compliance evaluation and quality control report
n
Analysing and conducting research to develop theories, techniques and processes, and testing the reliability of outcomes under different conditions
n
Managing and developing practical applications of experimental and research findings
n
Providing advice on quality and compliance related matters.
n




Investigating and recommending solutions for quality issues that may arise.
n
Assisting in internal and external audits.
n
Developing quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food products
n
Conducting experiments and tests to identify the chemical composition and reactive properties of natural substances and processed materials
n

REQUIRMENTS
n
n
At least Diploma Qualification in Food Technology
n
10+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Manager/Food technical Manager
n
Strong analytical and problems solving capabilities.
n
Experience in quality compliance in a manufacturing environment.
n
Sound knowledge of the Food Act, SQF, HACCP and GMPs.
n
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
n
